LevelUp Group BV, parent company of six specialist digital marketing agencies - Netprofiler, ClickValue, Cloud Nine Digital, Pi Marketing, C2B and Leadscope - has been certified as a B Corporation. The group now joins a global community of businesses that value social and environmental impact as highly as profit.
B Corp certification is awarded by B Lab, the nonprofit behind the global B Corp movement. It assesses a company’s entire operations across five areas: governance, workers, community, environment and customers. Only organizations that meet the standards of the B Impact Assessment, embed their mission in their articles of association, and undergo reassessment every three years may call themselves certified B Corporations. LevelUp Group is now officially certified and listed in the B Corp Directory.
Responsible business has been central to LevelUp Group from day one. Donations, volunteering, good employment practices, equal opportunity, sustainability and ethics were guiding values for the founders. As the company has grown into a scale-up of more than 150 employees, the time had come to formalize those values.
“B Corp was both a confirmation and a source of inspiration for us,” says Daniël Markus, Managing Director of LevelUp Group. “The assessment clarified where we were already strong and where we could easily make further improvements. For instance, the questionnaires revealed we weren’t actively monitoring air quality. We now measure and optimise it in our offices. We’ve also formalised more processes—from our articles of association to the employee handbook, and from procurement to our bonus policy. Our principles are no longer person-dependent; they’re firmly embedded in the organisation. That gives us confidence that, even as we grow to a thousand colleagues, we’ll keep working from the same standards”.
With its certification, LevelUp Group joins a global community of more than 9,000 B Corps across 105 countries and 162 industries. In Benelux, over 500 companies are now certified, including well-known brands such as Bugaboo, Rituals, Tony’s Chocolonely, Auping, Too Good To Go and Triodos Bank.
